Now that I am working on my own, I don't have to get permission to get whatever cell phone I want. After talking it over with a couple of people, I decided on the Blackberry Curve 8310 from AT&T and it arrived at my house on Tuesday. I haven't had a Blackberry on my hip for over 2 years and I am very happy to say that their design has come a long way. The Curve feels so much more "normal" in my hand and is extremely light. The other real improvement I have noticed is the sound quality on phone calls.I can't wait to start doing some more mobile things now that I have a real phone again. I have already hooked it up to Twitter and should start using that more now. Facebook is next, but I am not sure how long I will be able to stand it. I also want to see how much work it will take to be able to add quick blog entried via the device. Boys and their toys!!!!

I looked at the Curve but the keyboard is just too small for my comfort. The keyboard on the 8800 I just picked up is quite comfortable, even though it, too, is a little narrower than my old 8700c.

That is one issue I am not sure I will ever have. My hands are pretty freaking small and the other blackberries I have had have always felt really huge and bulky in my hands.
