I have been using the new Notes 8.0.1 client as my full-time client since the weekend after it was released.  The performance improvements over 8.0 are tremendous and the new enhancements make it less necessary to open another application to get things done.

One issue I had run into is that my context sensitive toolbars had stopped working in the Domino Designer.  I could have them show all the time, but they wouldn't show up when they were supposed to.  While I was still able to get things done via the menus, I didn't know how much I used them in Designer until the icons for adding a field or deleting a row weren't there.

The solution to this problem was very simple.  All I had to do is go into the Toolbars preferences and disable the Show toolbar that applies to my current task option.  Once I save the change, I went back in and re-enabled the option and the Toolbars started working again.  Whoopee!!!!
