Technorati tags are nothing too special, but are very useful for getting your content correctly categorized. Most sites have the tags for each entry listed at the bottom as a group of links. I think it would just make more sense to make the specific words in the content the actual tags that Technorati uses. To do this, just make each word a link and make the href for each link point to [http:]//technorati.com/tags/[words you are tagging]. The final tidbit to make this complete is to set the rel attribute of the anchor tags to "tag". That's all it takes to mark up your content like a pro.
Here's a special tip for DominoBlog users who are using the web client to add content: Create the link and put " rel="tag at the end of the title for the link. This is the only way I have figured out to get the rel attribute set. But watch out if you re-edit the document.....the hack will get lost.
