It's the best time of year for sports fans. College Football is in it's second weekend and neither Notre Dame nor Michigan have anything but doughnuts in the win column. Nice huh? And it's a guarantee that one of them will be 0-3 by this time next weekend since they are playing each other on Saturday. Even the Orioles have gotten in the spirit by letting opponents score touchdowns on a regular basis. I hesitate to mention that my alma matter, the Univ of Maryland Terrapins, are off to a 2-0 start. Of course, they are playing their normal collection of cup cake early games. Then again, that's what Michigan thought they had in Appalachian State.
I am participating in Greyhawk's Fantasy Football league again this year, not this I expect to do too much better than I did last year. At least it gives me someone to root for and against in almost all the games.
And sometime soon, the real baseball season will start. Can someone please explain to me why the regular season is so freaking long?
