Trip to ILUG a success
The trip was long, but we made it to Dublin without much fanfare.  We had a bit of an issue at JFK with my inability to tell the difference between gate 4 and terminal 4, but after doing our best OJ impression, we made it to our connecting flight.  The Leeson Bridge Guesthouse is in a great location, as far as I can tell.  We are 2 blocks from St. Stephen's Green and the shopping district on the other side.  The room is small, as expected, but comfortable.  They even had an outlet converted for my laptop with a breaker!  The best part is the broadband Internet access without an additional fee.  We are going to take showers to refresh ourselves and then head out for some lunch and site seeing.

The first casualty of the trip is my cell phone access.  As we expected, our phones don't work here, so we will be truly out of touch for friends, family, and work.

Ummm.....tell me you have enough brain cells left to remember his commercials from the 70s with him running through an airport, hurdling rows of seats, trying to make it to the car rental counter. Well, that's what it felt like, but much slower and a lot whiter. ;-)
